I buy a new 15-inch MacBook Pro every 3 years...but it's always overkill for me. Most of the work I do on the MBP is internet browsing, Photos app, and several various word and productivity programs. Because of that, no doubt about it, even the entry-level 12-inch MacBook would have enough power to suit my needs. However, I just can't work on a screen size less than 15-inches. I've tried. And while I could plug the 12-inch MacBook into an external display while home, 90% of the time I use my laptop I'm out on the go.

My dream is always the same: Apple will announce a 15-inch MacBook with at least 2 USB-C ports for around $1499. But something tells me that is never going to happen because, as far as Apple is concerned, the only people that want/need a 15-inch laptop are "pros."

I was a bit bummed that they didn't go back to the whole two sizes two classes product square. I'd pay for a 14-15" MacBook.

Considering the size of the Logic Board on the current 12" a 15" MacBook would probably achieve some real ridiculous battery life.

This topic was discussed sometimes. I also would buy one.

Actually everyone who sees my 12"MB tells me "this looks so tiny, how can u work on that?" :)
So I think they would sell more of a 14" MB than 12" as it happened with the 13" vs 11" Air.

But maybe the M3-M7 is still to weak to push a display with the additional pixels?

I could see them making a 14" once they phase out the macbook air. But that might be next year when they refresh the design.

I love the size of 12" but if there was a choice I would definitely go for 14". I think people have been begging for that since about a day after the 12" was introduced. I don't know if it's ever going to happen though simply because Apple's selling point on those is "it's so tiny and light".

That would be perfect for my wife, a rose Gold 14" or 15" Macbook and I'll take the Pro away from her. =)

Also agreed. Even though I moved from a Macbook 2015 with a dodgy battery to an XPS 15 (and now prefer the screen size), I still miss macOS and I'd take a long hard look at a 14-15" version. As much as I appreciate the power the XPS 15 packs, for day to day office work I still feel more comfortable in macOS.

Me too - Don't really need much for power for my MacBook purposes, but would GREATLY appreciate more screen size.

I assume they'd have to bump the specs a touch to power a larger, likely higher pixel count, screen.

Would be a dream machine for many, no question.
