i have, but im doing it differently, ill see which computer gets the most hits, post another poll, and keep on till we hit an answer, people just cant randomly keep getting freezing imacs

I think this one is different though. Seems like an attempt to narrow down "problem" model numbers.

Yep. Im on my 2nd already. Both were as bad as each other, although in my case Leopard improved the situation substantially, but not completely.

Unless you know what the actual distribution of the various configurations are, you will gain nothing from this poll and even if you did the sample size will be far to small to gather any meaningful information.

yes, you shouldnt be suggesting for just the freezers to come in, get the non freezers as well, so we can see the percentage of certain models that are freezers, unfortunately the results of this poll show nothing.

You don't know your population size (Apple won't tell you the number of units out there) so how can you tell if you have a sufficient sample size to make a meaningful judgement? If 50% of the people answer 20" 2.4 320GB 1GB how do you know that is only because 50% of ALL new iMacs were that model?
