Sorry but no thanks. Doesn't even look close to an iPhone IMO until you flip it.

I don't think they all suck. But I'm convinced it's useless trying to keep that chrome bezel from being scratched.

I think 75%+ of iphone/apple users have small girly hands. The phone is too small for me to use without it slipping out of my hands if it's "naked." I have a rebel serpent and it feels JUST right, although if the phone was thicker, I would actually appreciate it.

Look wise, its up to you. No case "looks" like an iPhone, so I don't see how that's an argument against this case and for another case.

Agree with the OP. I've tried a few cases but they always ruin the sleekness of the phone and trap dust. I've gone commando with all three of of my iphones and barely any scratches.

Pro:

- It looks very nice (for a biker like me)
- Very good protection againt sharp objects.
- Custom built.

Con

- Doesnt absorb shock like rubber/silicon. (A simple drop would send this case flying in two pieces with the iPhone following.)
- No protection on the sides.
- All ports and camera are fully open to dust, scratch and water.
- If you need to answer the phone or dial out, you have to remove the flip lid.
- Flip lid pops off easily because it's just weak magnets.
- No touch screen protection. Flip lid doesn't touch screen.
- The logo metal plate gets scratched and gets dinged easy, compared to plastic or silicon.
- The 4 screws make it a hassle to put your iPhone in the case or remove it.
- Very very expence for a case. More expencive than the iPhone itself.

Overal, I still think the OtterBox is the perfect case, of you want protection all over the iPhone.

The Mophie JuicePack Air is a must have. Preferably in white, no scratches on my black iPhone when removing the case, and no scratches on the phone!

Also, doubles your battery life<3:).

I agree. Cases are no good because:

1. They cover the iPhone completely, making it impossible to appreciate the beauty of this phone.
2. They trap heat and dirty; may discolor the chassis.

Trust me, I have OCD and care about scratches and the handling of anything I own. But there also has to be a balance between appreciating the beauty of this phone and protecting it. That is why sleeves are best, just make sure you handle the iPhone with care.

My favorite sleeve? Fabrix cases, due to the fact that they have best of both worlds. They are basically silicone sleeves wrapped around in stylish fabric. Yes, the designs they have are mostly inclined for women, but you can send them an e-mail and request one in a solid color, for instance. I sent this request by e-mail and they were able to do a solid black sleeve for me. They are also very nice and professional.

Who the he** cares if any case scratches the back of the phone ? I love my Griffin and dont give a shet if it scratches the back as i will never be without a case on the phone anyway.

i just bought the Vaja classic pocket and it looks fantastic. It is just a sleeve, but you can customize it in many colors and engrave it too. I like the sleeve because its protected while in your pocket but when using it you still get the sleekness of the bare iphone. Its also easy to take in/out too.
