iPod All music suddenly disappeared?!

yo guys.

Randomly woke up one morning to play some music and realised that my ipod video 80gb no longer has anything on there.

I find it strange because it wasn't even in use, so its not like i caused the problem.

Anyone have a solution? a possible 3rd party recovery software?

I had 13,000 tracks on there 🙁

Have you tried resetting the iPod ?? hold Center+menu in the same time for around 10 seconds for a forced restart. I also have the same iPod as yours and this helped when it randomnly freezed once.
