In Mail there is a setup having all the emails sent to mailboxes, very few go to the inbox. I want all the emails stored to the inbox, don't want any sorting of that kind etc. what should i do to settle this?

Other than junk email (if enabled), then all emails do go to your inbox. Or if you have rules set up then delete them.

If your mail server is moving them to folders then mac mail won't be able to fix it.

Could emails be directed to folders due to rules?

Yes, that would be one of the actions where you could use rules.
The sorting (rules, etc.) is to make your life easier. It's for your convenience.

Are your emails simply going to the wrong folders? Outside of junk or spam? (personal, business, hobbies, pictures, pørn, other examples?)

    I hear you...
You can edit your rules as you need to, in Mail preferences/Rules tab.
Could it be that you also have some Smart Mailboxes in Mail? Those, for example, can display all messages you receive about a specific project, regardless of which mailboxes the messages are stored in.
You might have a Smart Mailbox, showing every email that you received today (or for some period that you can set)
So, to go back to the simple "everything in the inbox", you could start by deleting all your rules, and any Smart Mailboxes that you have now.
What about messages that your Mail app thinks is Junk? What would you have Mail do with those emails?
