    Hi,

I know I'm not the only one, but I finally conclude that what I assume was a system freeze, is not, is only internal KEYBOARD and MOUSE dissapearing on my Macbook Air 13 (not using external).

I'm running a clean install without any particular software running. I removed everything :) Just Safari.

It always happend while I'm typing and the only button responsive on the system is the POWER OFF, which I cannot use since any other button works.

This was not happending in Mavericks, but I did a PRAM reset anyway. I find a couple of threads here with the same problem but no solution.

Anyone a clue where to start before going back to Mavericks? :)

Beta testers should know to check console logs for further clues :)

Hi Boast, any actual help? :) You are welcome to dive in my logs and will find nothing related to the input, keyboard or mouse. Anyway, BETA testers of a public release should report back to apple, there is no actual expectation of being able to DEBUG. Developer beta tester most likely yes.

Anyway... let's try to keep on subject. Any help is apreciatted.

The only time mine would freeze is when I left it alone for a couple hours and came back and it was on the login screen. I changed it so I don't have it log out when it goes to sleep and haven't had the problem since. Does that make more since.

It doesn't seem anyone here is really being that helpful. I too am having an issue I attributed to system freeze up until I read this post. How did you determine it was just keyboard and trackpad freezing? I'm going to attempt to plug in a USB Mouse the next time I freeze up. For me, it usually happens when I'm working on homework, i.e., writing a document in Pages, with Safari, and my Bible software Accordance.

I've been pouring through the logs, however... It seems like the freeze hasn't been recorded. Let me know of any progress you've made. A week ago I attempted a fresh, clean install, without any migration of my data. Same issue occurs. Macbook Pro Retina 2012.

    Thanks

I finally did a INTERNET RECOVERY, reinstall Mavericks and happy with it. I was restarting Yosemite every hour :(

I will wait for the rtm version.
