If true, while pretty, it would be such a practical waste. Everyone would case it up to keep from shattering. Then you'd have case compatibility issues with the edge to edge design

New stronger glass would eliminate that issue as it is already offered in one of the competition phones if you were not aware of this.

But this won't work with a full body made of glass. Ok, if you make it extremely thick and heavy like a rock, then yes.

I am thinking there will be different types of build between the 7 and 7+. I am thinking that the 7+ could have a different build and slightly different feature set. Apple might call it a Pro model.
If it does have a glass body, I think the glass will be extremely thin, just for aesthetic purposes, covering an aluminum frame. I think this would avoid the heavier weight of glass while protecting the aluminum from scratches.

Go pick up an old iPhone 4s. No way is Apple going to announce a heavier phone. This rumor is junk.
