The fact that there are so many "collector's edition" MacBook posters in this thread, makes them seem to be less of a collector's item.

Still got my iBook G4 as my main laptop. I don't expect to replace it for another 2 years at least.

I read this thread because you said you are still using a clamshell. I thought it was funny to see all the "CE MacBook" in the signatures.
If it makes you feel any better, I have a soon to be "CE" 16GB iPhone 3G.

I think its funny it took the "Collectors Edition" for people to notice the color of my "aluminum" text.
Everyone else seems to be changing that now to. Ive had that on there since October last year!
