Just found out that if your banking or messaging apps uses Touch ID for you to open the app previously, you can authorise the X to accept Face ID instead of Touch ID.

You authorise it through this prompt:

So we won't have to wait for developers to update their app to support Face ID.

I know this was said in their keynote and being confirmed by users, but the chase app updated yesterday saying now supporting Face ID.

I wonder if they just did that so people would know they support it or something?
