BS case mock-up based on a BS CAD drawing. That’s my bet.
Firstly, it’s a case for the 11” iPad, and secondly it’s based on the schematics that detailed the relocated smart connector. Personally I can’t confirm the relocation and it’s important to note that these schematics were mostly incorrect last year.
Im happy that Apple improves -not dropped- Touch ID.
Way better than Face ID
Hopefully they will have fixed Face ID by then. At the moment it's slow, unreliable and it doesn't work in landscape mode.I’m still waiting on part leaks to come out of the factory.
But maybe the screen is so big, it’s tough to sneak out a full size screen without a home button but with a notch.
That’s really what we are all waiting for I would imagine.

I doubt it. Apple has said repeatedly Face ID is the future.
I bet in two years or less even Macs will ditch Touch ID and incorporate Face ID. Makes even more sense on computers.
So you have to pick up the iPad to unlock it?fingerprint sensor on the back would make so much sense especially if its towards to bottom of the ipad as this image suggests. No face id required just pure screen.
But home button is round, that cutout isn’t round.Look at the top middle of the case. There is another cutout below the volume rockers. That's either a REALLY long Wake/Sleep button, or it is the cutout for the Smart Connector, which is about that long on an iPad Pro.
That would mean the back cutout is for TouchID, as Apple couldn't solve the horizontal solution in time.
It's a hybrid to overcome an engineering breakthrough issue.
I honestly have no issues with it, it’s a few milliseconds slower than Touch ID 2, but I have had too many issues with my home buttons to where I’ve wanted them gone for years.Hopefully they will have fixed Face ID by then. At the moment it's slow, unreliable and it doesn't work in landscape mode.
I hope this is fake, aesthetically and realistically the Touch ID being on bottom back or the smart connectors being moved is not practical for such large devices IMO.Firstly, it’s a case for the 11” iPad, and secondly it’s based on the schematics that detailed the relocated smart connector. Personally I can’t confirm the relocation and it’s important to note that these schematics were mostly incorrect last year.

Yep, that's wear I'm leaning towards. The mic and the smart port being flipped is a dead give away that its fake.BS case mock-up based on a BS CAD drawing. That’s my bet.
Slow? Mine has been pretty damn quick for first generation.
Only set it up the once, on nov 4th. It’s been surprisingly accurate.
