I believe Coolstar made a stashing tweak for the new JB that helps with this. I'm not sure if the space issue you have will be resolved by it, but it's worth researching. It's called Stashing.

Saurik released an update to Substrate, which is supposed to "mitigate" the stashing issue. This should no longer be a problem.

Delete in used languages. Saved 600mb.

If you do this, you have little chance later of using Cydia Impactor to stay on your current firmware and restoring it back to stock.

I was at 97% full with no tweaks. Is that not an issue now with the new update?

Won't Cydia impactor replace the missing files?

It will replace them, but there have been reports of it taking literally DAYs or a week to complete the process after removing languages. Without the missing languages, it takes a few minutes.

Oh. So then I should restore.

If I make a back up will all the customizing that I do to my themes be saved?

@eyoungren

I get that you own a higher capacity iPhone than my 16gb but the top pie chart System is a little confusing to me.

You have used 66.5% and I've used 95.8%

Not a clue how this would affect my iPhone / Cydia and what if anything I could do to reduce that % or even if it's crucial to do anything?

I'm on the 9.0.2 jailbreak. I imagine that is probably the difference.

Should have mentioned that.

I'm not sure to what to read into these %'s ?

I wonder if icleaner pro is worth a go ?

I only have 3.1% left :( and that's after the Cydia update and stashing tweak. I have a 16gb 6s

I read that before updating to the newest version of mobile substrate that it was recommended to remove the stashing tweak.

Yea I updated Cydia before I installed the stashing tweak, thankfully.

Has the tweak worked for you tho ?

Your % is lower than mine in system.

I assume you've more tweaks / larger tweaks than me ?

I have 4.

I assume the system % will just stay at what it is now.

Yea it has. I forget how much it saved me but it saved me some, obviously not much but anything helps. I do have a lot of tweaks, I think more than 20 or so, I have counted them all. I hope in the future they'll fix it and we can get more space
