Is it true that Alluminium 7000 impacts the reception?

If yes, I hope Apple has increased the power of the cellular receiver to get the same reception of the older models.

Don't forget the hideous antenna lines. They are still outside and visible so the case won't impact the reception.

The signal isn't going to get through any grade of aluminum. If there are signal differences it'll be due to other changes in the design.

Hopefully thats not the case. more power = less battery life.
When a phone has poor signal it raises the transmit power to try and accomodate.

Doesn't matter what type of metal they chose, any type will affect the signal. Thus the reason for the plastic antenna separators.

Well "Ramgate" appears to be fizzling out before it even gets started, so I suppose "Aluminiumgate" is as good a replacement as any. :p And let's be sure to stick with the British pronunciation. It gives the scandal more of an international flavor.

I'm going to therefor predict that 7000 series aluminum will decrease reception by 70% and that we'll all have to learn to shinny up repeater towers in order to place our calls. :D

Where did you get this information?

iPhones have had Aluminum for the past couple of updates anyways. If there were any issues, they would have come out by now.
