almost 5PM here in California and UPS hasn't delivered my iPhone X yet

8:30 at night and still not delivered. Still says "Out for Delivery today."

And this is why I always choose either store pick up or hold for pickup at the UPS hub. Not waiting all night for UPS to finally show up.

Praying for you. Seriously though, Ive had UPS drivers delivery at 9:30PM before. Have you phones UPS and inquired about it?
You sure you haven't looked outside your front door for a package just in case? Just saying the driver could've missed the scan lol.

During the iphone 5 times, I had to conference in Verizon and UPS at 9 pm at night to get them to demand to come and redeliver my phone because the delivery man just got tired at the end of his shift and marked the last few packaged "delay in delivery" and was gonna do them on his shift Monday. I raised hell and got the highest supervisor i could reach at Verizon conferenced in with UPS telling them she was gonna call their boss and report them etc. But i was a 20 year custom of Verizon so they bent over backwards.
Sometimes my UPS comes at 11pm, and sometimes they say too bad im tired im going home, delayed until Monday.

Not for iPhones. But other orders from UPS, I’ve had to call UPS. They would have to track what driver had my package, and tell the driver to turn around. That they missed a delivery. It happens from time to time.

I got mine at 1:30pm. I was surprised, UPS usually doesn't deliver around here until 4:30pm or so.
These drivers are going to be swamped in December. FED EX is already trying to hire additional drivers. They are required to work 6 days a week and the pay is $140 a day. Probably 12 hours a day so not even $12 an hour.
For this, I would call immediately, it should say Out For Delivery if it's coming to you today. I think you need to start facing the fact it's not coming today.
Got mine about 6:20pm Central. Ironically I was on the phone with UPS seeing if maybe the guy brought it back to the UPS store so I could just pick it up, and suddenly he knocked on my door.
