So my iPod was working perfectly fine via iTunes (No RockBox) with the 64MB logic board and 1TB of SD cards. However, it crapped out on me (The pins for the LCD screen wouldn't work, and there were a lot of static noises when applying pressure).

I thankfully have a spare 32MB logic board, and everything seems to be working fine. However, are there any things that will be downgraded from going 64 to 32MB? Performance, battery, etc.?

The iPod also has a 3000 mAH battery.

I bought it via eBay and inserted it. Works great. But using 32MB logic board won't hinder the performance?

The highest I have seen that works with the dual SDXC adapter is 2,000mAh. Shouldn't hinder it unless you get to the track limit.

How to check 32MB or 64MB logic boards (on iPod Video 5.5G--maybe works for others too):

-Press/Hold Menu and Select buttons to reboot iPod
-Press/Hold Rewind and Select buttons to enter Diagnostic Mode
-At the menu list, select NTF (first option)
-AutoTest
-SDRAMQuickTest (second option)
**Next screen displays what RAM logic board you have**

That wasn't my question
