Just a warning, Razor Core x with Vega FE + MacBook Pro 2018 in High Sierra, works great in MacOS, wanted to try in bootcamp, just booted Windows, card was not recognized, and while I was looking for a solution started smelling a distinct odor of plastic or paint heated to high temperature. The fan on Vega was idle but the whole eGPU enclosure was hot to the touch, and touching the card itself would cause burns. Quickly rebooted back in MacOS, fan went ballistic, luckily no damage, still works, but initially I was sure I lost it.

Looks like without working driver the card keeps high clock but the fan at idle. So be careful out there when playing with eGPU in bootcamp.

I don’t think that reporting this to anyone is going to do anything, as far as I know eGPU is not supported by Apple in bootcamp so why would they bother to even look at this. At best they would ping-pong me to either Razer or AMD. And sure as hell I’m not doing this again until I complete all the steps with EFI. Almost crapped my pants when I realized the burning smell comes out enclosure.
