Looking for an iPhone 13 for my parents. Someone is selling iPhone 13 for cheap. It has carrier lock, which locked with T-Mobile.

Anyway, the seller is selling $480. However, upon further check with GSX, it appear the phone is blacklisted by T-Mobile.

Be very careful when purchase used. Never buy a phone that is brand new unopened, you might get Android clone. Always run IMEI or serial number, if you can, pay small fee for GSX check. This will tell you details about the phone and if has been repaired and if it has iCloud lock, carrier lock and if it has been blacklisted.

Just want get the words out and possibly help someone avoid being scammed. Damn, scammers are everywhere!

NEVER buy an iPhone from 3rd party, period. Most carriers offer discounts on older models or trade in deals too if people still refuse to buy from Apple.

I only post this to inform people that scammers are out there and what to check if buy used.

I personally will not buy new iPhone. I refuse to pay money to Apple as I dislike this company. I like the product, therefore, I buy used. Plus, used iPhone are usually cheaper anyway.
