Is it possible to alphabetize my apps automatically instead of doing it one by one manually?

I’ve read if you go to settings and reset home screen layouts that will do it. However that wasn’t my case. It just deleted my folders and scattered the apps around not in alphabetical order....

Really hoping they include this as an option in iOS 14. Why Apple has never included this is beyond me. I realize there isn't an "app drawer", and they don't want to be like Android, but allowing some kind of organization feature (besides folders) seems like a perfectly reasonable expectation.

I agree. When I’m looking for an app I am used to the Samsung where everything is in order. It’s hard when you have a lot of apps trying to locate one when there is no rhyme or reason to it.

Swipe down on home screen to search feature. Start to type name of app and the apps with similar spelling pop up. Simple. Takes 2 seconds.

Cause I never heard anyone say “I wish my apps were alphabetically ordered.” Prior to this moment.
