Already got compliment on Apple Card

Got my card today, we went to dinner at Longhorn and put the card in the booklet and the waitress comes back after swiping it saying “That’s a really cool card, never seen one like that before”

Pretty cool reaction to what we already know, the card is bad as hell looking.

A lot of people are getting the card just for this reason. I am the opposite though, I would feel like a huge dork pulling out an Apple credit card lol.

But why does this even matter? You know what benefits the Reserve or Plat gets you. And they're both great looking metal cards. A card with generally high APRs, low credit limits, and mediocre rewards isn't really a status symbol imo.

I get comments about my metal AmEx card all the time. I got the metal card because the plastic ones wear out for me pretty quickly. When I was offered a metal card I jumped at it. Never thought of it as a status symbol. Seems practical to me.

Yeah there is no status with the Apple Card, which is fine, Everyone soon will have one, But I just think the card is really different and cool looking, so I got a kick out of someone taking notice of it.

Its amazing how much thicker it is compared to my Amazon Prime metal card.
