Lol, this thread is convincing me to sell my much more powerful MBP for the air. I really don't "need" the power of the macbook pro. If the air and the pro were out at the same time, I'd have bought the air. I didn't go the macbook route because it just seemed that for a few hundred more the pro was a better value (LED, backlit kb, aluminum casing, bigger screen, etc.).

Yes. A recover. Me personally, I like putting data on an external and moving only the stuff that I need. I enjoy the performance of an unclogged OSX. If you have any problems on your MBP (software) you are likely to transfer then to your MBA
