Alright folks... My iPhone has been taken over

Got home from work early. I boxed my X, set everything up. Went to Apple. Got a screen protector installed ( they have that sweet little contraption that aligns it perfectly ! ) and a case.

Loving this phone !!!

.. then my girlfriend calls me. Asks if I’m home. I say yeah, she comes by.

Totally cool, right ? .. not so much.

She comes in. Kiss on the cheek as usual. Asks when we are leaving to the movies to go see Thor etc. we y’all have a couple laughs, I pour us some wine and she’s gone ?

“ babe ? “

“ I’m in your office !.. uhh can you come here ? “

I go over.. she’s holding my X. ( it was charging ) she asks me to unlock it. I did.

She took 89 selfies, 5 videos and FaceTimed EVERYONE.

Then before I know it, she leaves ! But the best part is, she leaves her best up old iPhone 6 behind. lol I love my girl, she is a brat and super adorable.

Call ( my ) her up, yells at me since she’s FaceTimeing my sister, showing off MY phone.

Then she tells me that she just got MY phone a new case ?! Some pink case with the glitter that moves on the back of it.

Alright folks, it officially just happened. I lost my brand new iPhone X to my girlfriend.

It was good while it lasted.

Rewind to the Keynote where they announced the 8, 8+ and X. My wife has a 7 and I have a 7+. I knew I wanted the X and asked her what she wanted to do. She doesn't always upgrade but I do like to give her the option. She said she was leaning towards the 8 and I talked her out of it. I said don't go to the 8 if you're looking to upgrade. Go to the X or stay with the 7. Our two X's are going to be delivered any minute now. I probably would have pushed even harder to upgrade to the X if she was leaning towards sticking with the 7. I knew she'd want to play it it too much. A couple years ago she had an older iPad but I got a Mini 3 and she ended up claiming it. She even tried that **** with my Apple Watch. I didn't want the same thing to happen with the X ;)

Good luck getting it back. You set up FaceID, right? Does she know your passcode?

Lol same thing happened to me! Mrs AFB has had her phone she stole from me for about 11 years!

Haha lol nah man, she’s the boss. She’s great. Light skin PuertoRican with all natural blonde hair and green eyes. 5’3 with a petite body.

She’s way out of my league lol. Plus she let me purchase my dream car a few months back. A 97 NSX !.

She wants my phone she can have it for all I care lol she’s a keeper.
 
Lol! I had to beg my husband to upgrade his iPhone 6 today. That was after I already had my iPhone X in my hand! Loving it! It’s not always the guys that love the tech!

Way out of your league? You keep thinking that way and she's gonna run you over. She let you purchase your dream car with who's money? Your own? She isn't a keeper if she just jacked your iPhone X without even asking. Sounds like a gold digger to me.
