Alright i need some help with back up.....

I have 8,000 + pics in my iPhoto and i want to make two back up copies.

One to my External H.D. and the other into DVDs. HOW can i do this? in which folder are the iphoto pictures?

I olso have Albums so i don't want to disorganize them.

There are at least two ways, all of your pictures with the album organization, picture edits and originals, live in your home directory --> Pictures --> iPhoto Library. Drag it and drop it on your external hard drive.
You can also burn directly to a DVD in iPhoto under the Share menu.
Then there are dozens of Terminal tricks, shareware and commercial backup programs.
