12" Powerbook starting to languish

Has anyone noticed that the the 12" powerbook still only has 256 MB of ram soldered in on the motherboard? And the $1600 superdrive 12" had a max ram of 1.25 GB. Not that that is too too bad, except for the fact that the iBook now 512 Built in and a max of 1.5 GB (for a $1000 12' machine no less). INHO the 12" powerbook needs some work, at the very least to make it somewhat on par with the 15 and 17 in Powerbooks (800 firewire, cardslot, gigabit ethernet, s video out, Radeon Graphics, ect...)

But, the million dollar question here is: When? It’s been about six month….. It might take apple just as long to update the powerbook as it did with ibook, which will make me very sad since the ibook update took just a bit too long, and not very exciting. Yea exciting, that's the right word.
