Anyone know if it's possible to download apps (like Lockinfo, for example) on your computer from a different server, then SSH them into your phone? That would hugely ease the load on Cydia's servers. I need my Lockinfo!!! :)

That would require ssh first, which is a trick until cydia comes up again

I think you misunderstand. You can currently download and install OpenSSH just fine on Cydia. I believe it's hosted on the same server as the evasi0n jailbreak, which is rock solid. Give it a shot, you'll see what I mean.

Oh kool, wish there was more useful stuff on there, as it's about the only useful app there. I was trying to access it through the How-To SSH on the cydia menu, so a search got it and installed it, thanks!

Now just with I could get into MANAGE so I could get my old apps I paid for back. :)

All I needed was http://cydia.bitesms.com/ to hold me over for a couple days till the load clears up!
