Can I do backup and syncs to my MBA running Snow Leopard and alternate backups with OTA without causing any conflicts or loss of data?

If you are backing up with iCloud and want to create a 2nd back-up on your MacBook Air.
1. Open iTunes
2. Plug in your iPhone (iPad or iPod touch)
3. Under Devices, select your device and Option + Click (I think on a trackpad is Click once with 2 fingers)
4. Manually Create a Back-up

Your data (Contacts, Calendar, Reminders, Notes, Bookmarks) can only be synced from one sourced, iCloud or your computer.
