Alternative Email Apps

Hi, I was wondering if there are any alternative email applications, seems like there is more functionality on the android devices vs the Iphone.
ex.. like sending an attachment or creating a calendar event from emails.

I don't personally know about alternative email apps but you can send certain attachments via the native Mail.app and create calendar events provided the email contains a date somewhere in the message.

There is a good hotmail app called mBox Mail.
