Hello,

I was wondering whether there were any viable alternatives to Photos just to act as an organiser/viewer for jpegs? I have Lightroom for editing and that also holds the more recent files (everything is backed up) but I find jpegs easier to handle for basic things like looking at them!

Photos is ok but a little annoying. Not sure about trying iPhoto again as it won't be supported? So are there any recommended 3rd party apps for this purpose? I used to quite like Picassa on Windows machines.

I've been using "Lyn".
Works well enough for me, even in "demo mode".
I just use it to "browse 'n' cull" -- to quickly remove the bad shots from the usable ones.

If you liked Picasa on Windows, have you tried using Picasa for OS X?

I didn't realise Picasa was available. Not too fussed about it being a little out of date as long as it works and is logical. Google can get things right sometimes.....
