Alternative to Attachment Tamer Mac Mail

Im sure allot of you was familiar with this neat plugin.
Anyone found an alternative that works?
After 40 years, Apple apparently still have no clue about this

I mean, who in their right mind would wanna attach a picture in a mail in 2017?
Maybe im just being unreasonable here....
