Alternative To Toast Titanium 11?

Is there an alternative to Toast Titanium? Whenever I try to burn a movie it takes 24-48 hours to encode and then it burns. I have it in 1080p HD on my Macbook Pro, But when I throw the disc into my player its like 240p!!! I like Toast but I need an alternate. Thx

I'm pretty sure you can't burn 1080p on a DVD. As far as alternatives to toast, you might want to try this site to find those.

Not if your using your Mac's Superdrive. You'll need an external burner capable of burning HD dvds.

I can't comment on the encode times, but with the proper plug-in, you can burn BD-5 and BD-9 discs. Basically, these are bluray discs burned onto DVD media.

No, you'd have to play them on a Bluray player. And not all BD players will play BD-5/9 discs.
