Alternative writing App to Pages on Windows

Is there anything straight forward for doing basic writing on Windows .
Something that is like Apple pages app?
Libre. Office that seems very complex to me.
So is there something basic like Pages for Windows.?

To be fair, Pages is not what I'd call "basic". It may be streamlined, but it's a fairly feature rich app regardless.

When I think basic, I think TextEdit, and the Windows counterpart, Notepad.

Anyway, you could always use Pages through the web ig you like Pages - That's probably my best suggestion

What i should have said it is very straight forward for what i use it for. What i need it for is putting a review of the album tracks and info of the album.I am old school and download music and put them on CD,s.I used to do the writing on the old style Yahoo.I can just do it with Pages but was wondering if there was a simuler thing to Pages on Windows.
