Hi Fellow Apple fans.

I just posted my 1 day old experience with some new AirPod Pro's (second time trying them in 2 years). Due to the ringing in my ears (caused by using them at low-average volume for about 25-30 minutes), I'd like to find out what brands/models of ear buds others may have found that don't cause this (or other) issues?

I had the exact same hissing/ringing in my ears after using AirPod Pro's about 2 years ago. Apparently, (after reading many more recent posts) they are not improved in some way to not cause this problem

A friend has some Bose earpieces that seem to be very good, but wondering what else is out there (comparable) to look at?

Have you tried over-ear headphones instead of in-ear? I would imagine shoving things in your ear would only make tinnitus worse especially since you're just pushing ear wax further into your canal. I'm not an ENT doc but it only makes sense if you suffer from in-ear damage you leave things out of it.

I've never heard of AirPods themselves causing tinnitus. You've also commented to a separate thread here on essentially this same topic. One of the posts to that thread suggested referring to the thread linked below on the Apple Discussions forum. Have you talked to an ear doctor, specialist? Is there anything other than anecdotal evidence that ear pods cause tinnitus, when used at reasonable volume levels, or that one brand vs another is better than any other in this respect? I doubt it.

If you do not ever experience tinnitus except for times when you have used ear pods, then the answer is easy. Just say no!

Many years ago, I had some good Senheisers (sp?), but I want small/more portable to use with my iPhone during exercise.
Maybe try something that doesn't go into the canal like AirPods 2nd or 3gen (so not Pros) or Sony Linkbuds which have a little wing tip in them. Personally, my preferred workout headphones have been the PowerBeats Pro and now the Beats Fit Pro but those are all in-ear.
