Alternatives to apple thunderbolt/iMac type display

Hi..there was no announcement at the last Apple Event of a new Apple display. Whats a good alternative to the apple thunderbolt/iMac type display. I like the glass and glossy look..not interested in the matte display. Looking for one with usb c and/or HDMI inputs. Any suggestions. Thanks

Depends! Are you a picture guy or video guy? The answer really depends what you will the monitor for!
