What is “Max”? Is it a CD ripping app? If so, it hasn’t been updated since 2009! Why not iTunes?

I use it all the time for converting flac files - just ignore the warnings - still works great on Mojave. I think it is just a standard warning about 32 bit softwares - I get the same warning for Microsoft Office 2011 ( excel, word, outlook)

Yes, I don't reboot my iMac Pro that often so rarely get the alert & same here for Office '11.
Just thought it worth getting prepared as all it will take is an OS update & suddenly this stuff won't work anymore.
Might even have to invest in a newer version of Office (anything but 365...)

Hard to find any app that does what Max does - good job by the developer - probably did not get a good ROI for the effort - but I will keep using it while on Mojave since it works well for now - that warning is just apple telling everyone to "Upgrade, Upgrade, Upgrade" - they don't make and money if there is no upgrade.

I did invest in office 2016 - but still use 2011 - I prefer 2011 and am comfortable with it - 2016 seems dumbed down and less configurable for outlook and I still prefer 2011 for excel - but am ready to go with 2016 - on hindsight I should have held off for 2019 - lol

Yeah anything but 365 . . .

I liked “Max” a lot... But then I started to use rare audio file formats and conversions.
XLD (X-Lossless-Decoder) is a real swiss-knife for audio. It reads & converts everything I’ve thrown at it (even VLC fails to read some audio formats).
Max interface is cleaner, easier, but XLD is a must.
