Resolved Alternatives to the "SanDisk MobileMate USB 3.0 microSD Card Reader" - RF Interference Problem

Every time I plug this device into my Mac Mini (specifications in the signature line) I lose my bluetooth Apple keyboard and mouse and wireless network speeds slow down. This is the only peripheral it happens with; other devices work find and I do not have any issues with bluetooth or wifi in general.

Does anyone have any experience of using a similar device (essentially a minimalist Micro SD card reader) but without the bluetooth penalty? My current solution is to plug in the keyboard for a bit...

i used an usb 3.0 male to female cable to extend it further from the mini, it helps alot.
