Alu Macbook - Cuts out every 2 mins with external display

Hmm... been searching google and the forums for about 5 minutes and come up with no answers...

I have a 2.4GHz Aluminium Macbook hooked up to my 40" LCD TV.. via mini displayport -> DVI -> HDMI

i'm just watching a home movie I created and every 2 minutes the picture cuts out for about 3-4 seconds and then comes bak again... it's really weird.. and it is every 2 minutes..

The macbook is not closed either... the lid is probably semi closed about 35-45 degree's

I don't know what could be causing this.. Any ideas please?

Basically, many are experiencing this problem. No fix yet, but hopefully Apple will do something soon.

I just tried the link you posted and I get this message:

I did however find this thread about a similar issue... i guess the keywords I was searching on were not found before...
