Damn, what did you do? Rub a diamond on it? Theres video on youtube of a guy trying to scratch a original AW screen with a cutoff wheel and failed.S
Stainless steel series 0 here with a scratched sapphire screen. No idea how I got it as well.

I am thinking this avenue as well especially with the "larger" upgrade this year with hardware and some of the internals that I feel next year will be a very small update.
Meaning it may be a good idea for a 2-3 year SS run and now you have me doubting all my beliefs. Thanks![]()
Just to clarify, stainless steel has always only been cellular.Yes SS is more expensive, especially now that they only offer the cellular option.
No, Series 0, 1 and 2 had the options since they weren't no cellular version(s) for SS.Just to clarify, stainless steel has always only been cellular.
how bad is the ION glass on aluminum. Does it scratch that easily?

Too bad the resell value plumits by 50% or more even after the first year of each SS AW series. Too me not really worth the extra money for a "disposable" gadget, which i will upgrade a year or max 2 years later.
Cellular wasn’t introduced until series 3 so of course series 0, 1, and 2 had no cellular options in stainless steel. The no cellular option was the only option. No, Series 0, 1 and 2 had the options since they weren't no cellular version(s) for SS.
Correct me if I am wrong about Series 2 had no cellular option.
I wanted to post a reply similar to yours, but I figured it was not worth it.Cellular wasn’t introduced until series 3 so of course series 0, 1, and 2 had no cellular options in stainless steel. The no cellular option was the only option.
What exactly is the weight difference?
Had an aluminum S0 and was really careful with it yet it got a lot of little scratches on the glass and a few on the body. I've had the S2 SS since they launched and it still looks flawless and it's taken some mild abuse (banged it on a doorknob just the other day). That said, as someone mentioned they don't seem to hold their value very well so I'm going for the aluminum again...if it gets some marks on it, screw it. The resale value is crap anyway. Like selling back textbooks in college. $150 book, we'll give you $20 for it.![]()
My thought exactly.
I had the S0 in SS and it was flawless when I sold it to buy the S2 in SS (black). The S0 sold for like $160.
Selling my S2 and hoping for maybe $220.
The $200 premium isn’t worth it to me anymore so ordered S4 in SG Aluminum.
I have a Series 2 Alu Space Grey and no scratches on the casing or the glass and i wear the watch everyday. I think it all depends on how you look after the watch if you are going to be rough with it i am sure the SS will also show wear signs in that aspect.how bad is the ION glass on aluminum. I was planning to get the stainless steel larger size but -- that price. With Applecare and tax I'm looking at almost $880
