Can I ask a serious question? Why do you buy a bumper? Do you only have your iPad over totally flat surfaces? Drop it on ANYTHING that has an edge, corner, or bump to it and you're done.

Agree with some of the others in here. Bumper on an iPad seems risky. 🙁

I disagree...I think it's no different than the iPhone and after dropping my iPad mini retina I'm 100% sure this bumper would have saved it.
