So you can polish aluminum and get it to shine nice like its stainless steel. People do it or rims and other things all the time. Any way this can be done to the Watch sport??? Just curious...

I think you'd have to fine sand it in stages of grades (wet sanding), then buff it. Depends on if your willing to risk it though, i would test your skills/process on a similar bit of scrap first.

you will need a set of fine sand papers.

The sport has an ionized layer around it to keep it clean and it helps with water resistance, I'd be cautious with that. The reason why you can't gold plate it is because of that layer being non-removable so you might get adverse effects if you try it.

If you do keep us updated!

You'd need to remove the anodizing, then polish it, then clear coat it to prevent oxidation. This would require disassembly and removal of some material. I can see colorware offering watches like this but mostly to paint some color.

If you don't have experience, you may want to find some scrap anodized aluminum to polish. I can't see it turning out well on your first try so practice needed. If you feel brave, go for it.
