I'm an iPhone novice and am trying to immerse myself in the platform. I'm working on an app where I ALWAYS want it in landscape mode. I have some questions...

First, can I just define all my NIB files as 480x320? And is there a way to just always have the app behave in landscape mode?

Second, is there an inherent understanding that the app always sees Portrait mode as "normal?" So, should I develop my views as portrait always and let it autorotate?

I know the methods of autosize, and handling after rotation...I'm just looking for the best (simplest) strategy for writing a landscape-always app...if anyone can help or point me art a resource to better understand...thanks!
