This is my first Apple Watch. Taking getting used to how to use it.

I did have to throw it into theater mode at bed time last night because the always on was visible in a dark room. Anyone else run into this?

I have always done this with both my S0 & S3 Watches. Plus I have them on Do Not Disturb and Water Mode.

Do not disturb is synced with my phone. Kind of wish it was automatic but it is what it is.

I noticed our watches lighting up last night. Having had an Apple Watch 3 for several years I thought my wife was moving but nope just the always on display from her AW 5. Wasn’t enough to keep me from sleeping. I just assumed during bedtime it would turn off?

Another vote for Theater Mode. I’ve been using that since it’s inception to save battery overnight (and irritation aggravation from my wife).

Thanks. This is enough for me to get one. Big complaint is it not being on in bedtime mode. Would love to use it as my alarm clock

I don’t have a Series 5, it with my S3 I put in DND and Theater mode at night and set the alarm on my phone. The display stays dark and I don’t get notifications through the night. When the alarm goes off, my phone gives an audible alarm and my watch vibrates. I can then turn off or snooze the alarm from my watch.

I wonder if it would be distracting during love making.

Hopefully they come up with the option to schedule the always on feature - I’d love to be able to have more control over it like with night shift and dark mode
This would be a very nice feature.
