Agreed, was waiting for something like this before getting an apple watch, they finally did it. I'll be purchasing. LTPO truly is amazing tech. Can't wait for this to get cost-effective to be on the iPad and iPhone, and eventually laptops.

I couldn't tell if the 18 hour battery life is good or not? Considering I still only charge my Series 2 every other night.

I hear that the Series 5 has a compass. I’m sure that I’m in the minority but that’s something I’ve been wanting for years. Never thought it would actually happen!

I think it's lower than the S4 but a great trade-off IMO.

I’m excited. I still have the original Apple Watch which i bought on launch day, I’ve been itching to upgrade for years but the main thing I’ve wanted is an always on display as raise to wake often doesn’t work and I think it’s annoying needing two hands just to see the time.

At the Apple event today, the VP of silicon engineering had the S5 on. Looked like a SS black with Milanese band. Could easily see the always-on display.

And the Retail SVP has a ceramic S5 on.

I don’t want this feature. I don’t want my sh** on when someone is next to me and can see what I’m up to. I’m a runner and someone frequently in meetings, too. I just don’t see this as a great, innovative feature. Certainly not a headliner.

I wanted SS so i have just ordered it....do like this feature though and is a welcome improvement.

Honestly the compass is more compelling feature to me by comparison to Always On Display. I'd actually want to disable that anyway if at all possible. I'll wait this one out and stick with the even releases I suppose.
