I might be going to the Apple store on the 13th for the 10.5". However I am still not sure if the screen is big enough to allow me to do typing stuffs and others on that size.

Basically what I am trying to do with the 10.5"

    1. Couch entertainment like film streaming; is the screen big enough to watch on my bed or couch?

    2. Microsoft Word and PPT tasks. This is where I am gonna need the keyboard most, and where I am trying to make sure that the screen and iOS would allow me to fully explore my works. I know I can't expect it to work like my MBP, but basic things such as word typing, emails, videos, forums, and stuffs. Is the screen going to be sufficient and convenient for these works, or is it gonna be uncomfortable?

    1. The 10.5 Pro will be terrific for that purpose.

    2. Word and PPT. It will be adequate for LIGHT MODIFICATIONS of existing Word and PPT files but Office for iPad is a pale shadow of the Windows and MacOS versions of Office. Not all functionality exists for the iOS version. This is true for all iPads, not just the 10.5.

There are not many keyboard shortcuts for Office for iPad. That makes it cumbersome to perform some tasks. Also keep in mind that Office for iPad is free for iPads under 10". Above that, you'll need an Office 365 subscription.
