The OP probably isn't losing it, but I would wonder about the State of Virginia. That's the first time I've seen a web address on a license plate before.

PA has been doing it for a long time. The plates I got in 2003 has an address on them.

That's cool. I'm an unabashed geek so I like those type of vanity plates. I'm rather limited to what I can have here in Mass. 6 letters/numbers, letter have to start the plate and I cannot intermix letters and numbers. I'd love to get imac or mac128k but the "K" kills it since it comes after the numbers

You're not alone. I've posted this here before, but why not again. This was just a few days after I bought my 2007 VW Rabbit about 2 years ago.

Well, that was over two years ago and we haven't sunk yet.

I think it's an optical illusion because of a combination of things:

-The elevation of our property starts to slope/drop a decent amount on the right side of our house. If I go around to the far back corner, our crawl space is about level with the middle of my chest.
-The drive way slopes down from left to right slightly along with the property. In order to get the car parallel in the picture, I probably slightly rotated the camera.

It looks pretty normal in person, I promise.
