I thought the SII had a way better processor and the 4S was going to be a huge letdown?
 
A 16 month old phone (iP4) beats the GS2, pathetic.

Gap there...And the 4 surprises me. TBH I'm a lot more exited about IOS5 than I am about the 4S....Thing is I have to install it on 4 friends devices because they refuse to learn!

Busy weekend! I wonder what time it will go live on the servers? I'd like a little time to configure stuff before doing theirs!

Happy that iOS 5 will be a nice improvement but they definitely are trying to use old #'s to skew the results in their favor :rolleyes:

And btw... don't most iPhone users say that 'Stat Geeks' are idiots by focusing on the benchmark #'s instead of real world performance?

Isn't that what we have been telling Galaxy S II trolls... that the numbers don't matter and that the iPhone 'just works'?

The only time stats matter to iPhone users is when they are better ;). I say this as an iPhone user myself.

I already pre-ordered the iPhone 4s so you don't have to convince me :p

Just that I still think that stat geeks that get their jigglies off on benchmark scores are a little misguided ;)
 
Apple fanboys trying to justify spunking their cash when they wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a 4 and a 4S. Pointless upgrade.

Tell me in what situation it would have been beneficial to have an iPhone 4S instead of a 4? Leave Siri out of this.

That's like saying "Tell me in what situation it would have been beneficial to have a motorcycle instead of a bike? Leave the motor out of this."

The motor is really the only difference, as is Siri to the 4S. The camera is the only other major upgrade I'm looking forward to. Personally, I think the 4 is pretty damn fast with iOS 5, so I'm not too sure how much faster it'll be with an A5.
