Apple fanboys trying to justify spunking their cash when they wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a 4 and a 4S. Pointless upgrade.

Tell me in what situation it would have been beneficial to have an iPhone 4S instead of a 4? Leave Siri out of this.

Speed. And having the latest version.

Also the camera is a whole lot better.

That's like saying in what situation is the 3gs beneficial rather than the 3g. Or the 4 rather than the 3gs. They all can be used in every situation. It's all about having the fastest and latest.

It looks exactly the same as the iPhone 4.

And Siri will be on the iPhone 4 within days of iOS5 being released.
If Siri was going to run on the iPhone 4, then it would've been included with the GM, more than likely. Also, if it was going to be included on the iPhone 4, very few people would have bothered springing for the 4S. The only compelling reason to really do so would be the camera... and the people that are that obsessed with photography already have better cameras, typically.

The new Ice Cream Sandwich from Android has way too much TRON-like "animation effects." I bet it sucks a lot of power unnecessarily, like Windows Vista before Microsoft optimized it into Win7.

It's a phone, keep it simple, light and optimized. Play GT5 on the PS3. The iOS has the right idea.

If we're keeping it simple I'd say WP7 does it a lot better than iOS. It's smooth as hell on a single core processor with 512mb of RAM. I agree that Android needs to tone it down though (I think it does actually have an option to turn effects off).

Is it just me or is Android ugly as ****? That looks so amateurish; like it was designed by children or something.

I can afford it, don't worry.

Since when does there have to be a reason for me to buy anything other than 'I want one'

Agreed. I am tempted by Android's functionality but can't stand the way it looks or operates. The bloatware and adware included on most of them these days is enough to turn me away. And most of the icons remind me of Windows XP

I recently read that Apple has over 1000 people working on microprocessor design and hardware performance optimization - now we know why! Remember, its not all about clock speed!

Yep, gotta agree. I'm moving from iPhone 4, probably to Nexus Prime. The whole look of the OS is a bit dated IMO, including the icons which look like they were lifted from Windows 98.

If a tree falls in the Forrest and no ones there to hear it does it make a sound?
