I like others now have both a Apple id for purchases and now a iCloud apple id. And I can't understand as users who own both can't merge them into one apple id.

But with two apple ids (one for purchase history and one for iCloud) what do we lose? In th UK we don't have iTunes match yet and with your settings on the iOS devices, and purchase history, apps, musc and books can be downloaded automatically, and manually, and pushed to other devices.

I can't see what the difference would be for a new user who could set up one id for both other than being more.... Tider or logical? And of course iTunes Match
