I know it's what's it's designed to do but it just turns the screen yellow which I can't stand. I really love the cool blueish white of the screen. I've tried it several times and keep turning it off.
I love it, but did find something out. Because it's based on the ambient light, I found that turning it on at night with lamps on gives a yellowish cast, but turning it on during daylight, the screen is more blueish. Give it a try, might just be my experience.
At least they let you turn it off. Ha.I know it's what's it's designed to do but it just turns the screen yellow which I can't stand. I really love the cool blueish white of the screen. I've tried it several times and keep turning it off.
I have stated this many times, the tab S2 OLED is amazing and the whites are actually white; I own this device as well. I am not a fan of yellow tones and true tone is definitely not my thing after testing it out at the apple store. My iPad pro 12.9 has better colors and whites in my opinion than the smaller pro. Apple is using true tone as a cost effective method to stop display returns.....it wouldn't surprise me.This helps no more returned displays to Apple without True Tone because they are too Blue or too Yellow. It takes some adjusting but it's just better. Of course you just can't beat OLED displays the OLED on the Tab S2 is amazing.

The thing is.... 32 bits makes no difference, the device flies. I have the S6 edge plus too and that's a 64 bit device yet my S2 seems faster...the processor on the S2 is capable of 64 bit processing, maybe the marshmallow update will unlock it.I owned the Tab S2 but returned it due to just having an old 32-bit CPU. Anyways the display is superb.
I do own a Samsung Note 5 with a 5.7 inch OLED 1440p Display and I would rate that display slightly better than the iPad Pro's. Whites are white. Colors pop off the screen. And it's just so vibrant
