I use MTR and end up with a folder which contains VIDEO_TS file (and sometimes an AUDIO_TS file).

If backing up a disc, I then use DVD2oneX2 to compress and create an image file. I then use Disk Utility to burn.

If ripping for iPod, I either:
use HandBrake to rip directly to m4v file (using the "iPod" setting)
or
use HandBrake to convert a previously MTR rip to m4v file (using the "iPod" setting)

If ripping to use on Apple TV, I do the same as above but use the "apple TV" setting.

Is this correct?
Is there something more efficient.

Thanks in advance for the help.
