Am I safe?

I'm new to jailbreaking so this may be a dumb question.

If I download something like Colorkeyboard and themes for it, is there a chance that it could be a keylogger? Since these aren't Apple approved apps, I'm a little nervous in knowing if these things are keeping track of what I type in.

Download apps/tweaks from trustworthy repos and you should be alright.

Trustworthy or not, if the app itself has spread to the news than it is undoubtedly safe. If it is a key logger as such, the developer will have too many entries running into its server to process properly.

Just remember the #1 Rule: Don't make the developer angry at you.
