Am I the only obsessed with buying cases?

Yeah it fell on face. But when someone advertises 6 feet drop rated I didn't know it's only from certain angles! Lol

How's the polycarbonate part after you dropped it?

I'm currently using Griffin Identity, the back plate has started to show some cracks which means I'd probably have to get a better case soon. If Survivor Core couldn't save your screen (protector) then probably the Identity will do worse.

How's the buttons on the Zoogue? From the impressions, it sounds like some people's are easier to press than others.



I switched back to my Speck Candyshell Grip cause the case just feels so sturdy and the buttons are so easy to press, despite the additional size and weight.





I finally received my fake Apple leather case. I love the feel and the slimness of this case, but the buttons are a deal breaker (super hard to press and the indentations are gone so I can't even feel where the buttons are).

I agree on the feel of the Candyshell Grip. I have not taken it off since I put it on a number of weeks ago. I've never done that with a case before. I knew right away after I put it on that it gave me exactly the feel I was looking for. The 6 feels so study and substantial with the CG on it. What color do you have?

I have the white case with the black strips. I know looks is subjective, but I still think this case looks "ugly", but just love the grip and build of this thing. I also left this case on for weeks and have used this the most...until recently.

But recently I switch back to my first case, a Spigen Air Cushion. The size increase of the CandyShell got to me, so for now, I've switched back to the Air Cushion.

I have a Ringke Fusion and a Zoogue coming in so I'll be doing the case musical chairs again soon. ;-)

2. Power Support Air Jacket Force (returned) - Case cracked during first week.
3. Cheap ebay 0.3mm transparant case
4. Ringke Max (returned) - Back is too slippery. Otherwise, nice slim feel for a "tough" case.
5. Speck CandyShell Grip - Favorite, but larger than I like.

6. Ringke Fusion - (coming in) Got this to replace Air Cushion because of the responsiveness of buttons.
7. Zoogue - (coming in) Trying cause of the positive comments and recent sale.


If I had to pick to keep only one case, it would be the CandyShell Grip case. If I can keep a second, currently it would be my Air Cushion.

The white/black CS Grip is Star Wars stormtrooper cool.

Your feedback is interesting and very refreshing. To you it's more important how the case functions and looks won't dictate your choice. I tend to think the same way, unless it's something outrageously gaudy.

I think the looks of the CS Grip is fine, but your thoughts on grip and build quality really stand out. Basically you're saying quality and function overrides looks, if you had to make a choice. Good stuff, man.

Haha.. Suprisingly my Ringke Fusion came in yesterday and I live it. It feels solid enough, the port covers are nice, and the buttons are really responsive. I'm finally really retiring my Spigen Air Cushion.

I'm only awaiting the Zoogue..but I feel done getting cases...for now!

Currently (without the Zoogue), the Ringke Fusion will probably be my daily driver and the Speck CandyShell Grip is for vacations or days that I know will be more tough.

Got the Apple Leather Case in black, the Spigen Neo Hybrid Metal in champagne, the Neo Hybrid (plastic version) also in champagne, the Spigen Air Skin semi transparent (my currently daily driver and fave), a clear case made of TPU, a black case made of TPU, two cases in postcard style (one New York and one London)

I have historically had more than one case for all phones I have owned.

For my iPhone 5S.. I had the Ringke Fusion, Nillkin hard-shell, Incipio Feather and numerous other generic shells and cases.

My tactic is different for the iPhone 6.. I will only have one case at a time!
I have tried and returned the following cases due to one issue or another.. Ringke Slim (too slippery), Ringke Fusion (too slippery) and Spigen Thin Series (deformed).

I am tempted to try out the Incipio Feather and the Spigen Air Cushion.. would also love to try the Veil out but not available here in the UK!

I have ordered a temporary generic rubberized hard-shell by Terrapin (Amazon UK) in the mean time.. the search continues!

(I may end up with the Apple Black Leather Case.. just need to convince myself of the RRP of this case!)

I have the Air Cushion and the Ringke Fusion and both cases are really similar to each other. The fusion's sides feels a tiny more soft, the buttons are way more responsive, have dust caps, but otherwise very similar. If you think the Fusion is slippery, I'd think you'll think the same for the Air Cushion.

I was also tempted by the Apple leather but held back cause of the price. But now I'm over it also cause the bottom is open and it feels like I'll need to be more careful with that case.

How do you like the Neo Hybrid for the 6? I've heard mixed reviews on it but imo it looks beautiful on the phone.

My Magpul for the 6+ came in the mail yesterday. I put it on my phone and officially done with cases. I even went back and ordered one for my work 5S. Excellent design and feel to this case.

I also have the CS grip (white/black) and the Mighty Shell adds a bit more bulk. I do like the rubberized-type sides and bigger lip. So far I would recommend it. I got the grey/black MS case.

Yeah know what you mean. The only real noticeable difference for me is the bigger lip around the screen. No issues with the screen being impacted if dropped. I do like my CS grip too.
