I upgraded to the natural titanium 15 pro max 256gb from 12 pro max.

From battery issues to overheating, screen burn in, even software issues. Thankfully I haven’t had a single problem.

Just wondering if there are others completely happy with their new iPhone.

Experienced the same but then discovered the Search in Messages do not return all the results and might be some indexing issue. I ended up deleting them anyways and left only the important ones.

It could just be that you just haven’t encounter the issue yet. It may be lurking somewhere.

your the only one :) Hopefully my new phone will fix the major cellular reception issues with the 15 pro

Also moved from a 12 Pro Max to a 15 Pro Max, and I'd mostly put myself in the category of experiencing no problems so far. While transferring data from the old phone to the new (with both of them plugged in), I did get the "charging on hold" message on the 15 (though it just felt "warm" to me, not hot), but the strange thing is that the 12 was significantly hotter than the 15 during this process (maybe because it was transmitting the data as opposed to receiving it?), and it did not give this message, which makes me wonder if perhaps the threshold for this warning was somehow errantly set to be too low on the 15.

But in usage, I'm not seeing any abnormal heat, nor is my battery life shorter than expected. Totally happy with it.

My launch day 15 Pro has had no issues of any kind, apart from me having to set it up as new because my phone-to-phone transfer and restore from backup caused some issues with my Apple Watch. I attribute this more to an issue on my prior phone and backup, and not the new 15 Pro.

That was me too until about 11 o'clock last night... #burn-in-guy

Didn't see what everyone was on about. Phone worked perfectly and was loving the combination of all the incremental changes. Laid the smack down on people calling it a "beta" phone. I still don't think it is a "beta" phone...

However, whether my issue is true burn-in or "image retention," it has not gone away with reboots and is surprising to see at all on a new device. Hopefully I will get more from Apple than, "Yeah, that's weird... here is a new phone." I can't the be only person in the world seeing this right now w/their 15 Pro/PM... if I am, I better go buy a lotto ticket.

edit: mine is the NatTi Pro Max 1 TB fwiw

What does it look like? Like, is it in the shape of text or an image, or is it just a splotch?

Exact same phone here, exact same zero issues. Happy.

Is yours a China or India phone (you can check on the inside of the USB port)? One YouTuber suggested there might be differences between to two.

How are your USB-C speeds while performing backups and syncs with your Mac/PC? Are they 10Gbps?

Geez, thats crazy. I would guess it's probably image retention rather than full burn-in, but that really shouldn't happen regardless. Too bad there's not an retention-cleaner app to try, like they have on some OLED tvs
Funnily enough, I tried different versions of that (or recordings of those) on YouTube last night and let it run for 30 min on peak brightness and forcing 4k... to no avail.
